GWCT Central Exhibit

The theme of this year’s central exhibit will be “Research into Practice.” It will focus on the various new provisions introduced by the Wildlife Management and Muirburn (Scotland) Act 2024 and how they can be effectively implemented. Separate stations will be dedicated to individual topics, such as muirburn and the new Muirburn License, trapping and the new Wildlife Trap License, as well as the future of farming under the new regulatory frameworks. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see live game birds on display, providing a practical insight into sustainable game management. They will learn how to comply with the new provisions and how GWCT can support them in achieving and demonstrating compliance.
