The GWCT Scottish Game Fair is delighted to welcome back Viking, a global leader in experiential travel, as a partner for the 2026 event, taking place from Friday 3 July to Sunday 5 July at the historic Scone Palace in Perthshire. As one of Scotland’s leading countryside events, the Fair continues to attract visitors from across the UK and beyond, celebrating rural traditions, sporting pursuits, food and drink, and the very best of Scottish heritage.

Known for offering culturally enriching experiences and for its destination focus, Viking has a fleet of more than 100 ships exploring 21 rivers, five oceans and all seven continents.  Viking expects to take delivery of two ocean ships and nine river vessels during the remainder of 2026, including the world’s first hydrogen powered cruise ship, the Viking Libra, which will be visiting ports across Scotland several times in 2027.  Based on the committed orderbook, Viking will have 112 river ships in 2028 and 25 ocean and expedition ships in 2031.

Wendy Atkin-Smith, Managing Director of Viking UK, said:

“We are proud to be an official partner of the GWCT Scottish Game Fair again this summer, particularly given the beautiful setting in the grounds of the historic Scone Palace.

As the world’s leading small ship cruise line, we share our guests’ love of the great outdoors and their passion for exploration.  The Scottish Game Fair is one of the highlights of our cultural calendar each year and we are looking forward to meeting visitors at the Fair this June, including many of our loyal guests.”

James Gower, Managing Director of Stable Events, organisers of The GWCT Scottish Game Fair, commented:

“It is fantastic to continue our partnership with Viking for the 2026 event.

Their brand perfectly complements the ethos of The Scottish Game Fair, bringing together a passion for discovery, heritage, sharing knowledge and exceptional experiences. We are delighted to have Viking returning to Scone Palace and look forward to welcoming visitors for another outstanding celebration of the countryside.”

Visitors attending the Fair will have the opportunity to meet the Viking UK team on stand GR009 to discover more about Viking’s range of immersive, culturally enriching river, ocean and expedition voyages.

As part of their cruise fare, travellers from Scotland can take advantage of flights from regional airports including Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen on select itineraries offered by Viking.
