ORVIS 101

Once again this year we will be having a daily Orvis 101 session at 11am. Come and learn the basics of fly fishing.

These popular Fly Fishing 101 classes are a great way to introduce yourself to the world of fly fishing. Join us at our fishing control next to the river for these fun and engaging classes. You will cover the fundamentals of fly fishing:

• Rods & reels
• Rigging
• Essential knots
• Fly selection
• Basic casting

These sessions will get you heading in the right direction for fly fishing.

These 101 instruction sessions will be given by Alberto Laidlaw. Alberto is an Orvis Endorsed Guide and qualified angling instructor holding APGAI (Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructor) for trout, grayling and sea trout. APGAI double handed instructor and fly dressing instructor.
